Attitude in Adversity
One of the patients I did today put my #attitude to test at every level during surgery and it was a pleasure living up to my own principles without wavering in these delicate moments. Ernst traveled to be from Alabama with multiple RK cuts and scars with high irregular #astigmatism and ectasia with floppy iris syndrome with poorly dilating pupil With Fuchs dystrophy of the cornea with a hard Cataract in his ONLY SEEING EYE. In this video as I take a break after his surgery I’m expressing my attitude which I shared with observing surgeons Where we must never take the easy way out and do surgical acrobatics that may decrease the vision outcome.
