My vision has been bad all my life. I have not done many things I would have liked to try because of my vision. I was never able to even try for my life goal professionally because of my poor vision. I never liked crowds or new places due to fear walking/seeing in those situations.
I found Dr. Gulani through Prayer. Then I would do an internet search and time and again Dr Gulani, the vision institute or an article about him would come up. Looked at his website, searched more, prayed and he seemed to consistently be the answer.
“It has been wonderful both as the spouse of a patient and the patient. Even when I was totally panicked, fearful Dr Gulani, held my hand so to speak till the wave of panic passed.”
I pray for him daily. He has a gift but many people do. What sets him apart is, he recognizes it, wants to use it to better other lives. He is humble and self- sacrificing to bring his gift of sight here and abroad.
I’ll be 57 years old in July and I’m experiencing a use of potential that I have never had. I’m already planning a trip with cousins. I’m reevaluating my professional goals. I’m excited soon to read a whole book and sew!
I could never have been awake and aware through my surgery with a Dr. I did not have the respect and faith in, that I feel for Dr. Gulani. Childhood trauma runs deep and I actually can’t believe even with him I overcame the terror I feel at times of facing this surgery.
I already have and answered several friends and families questions, several have friended his facebook page.
Me and my husband (who also chose Dr.Gulani for his miracle cataract surgery to bring him to 20/20 in his only seeing eye) are both one-eyed and we both today are Living testimony to Dr.Gulani’s dedication and skills.
A last note of humor the only down side to this great vision is I look older than I knew!
