When I was old enough to walk, I kept running into chairs and walls. My parents were relieved to learn it was my vision. I’ve worn contact lenses for over 50 years. With my extreme myopia, my glasses would cause blisters on my nose. I had to do something about my cataracts.

I work in Gainesville. When I told my ophthalmologist that I needed to have my cataract surgery in Jacksonville, she immediately said I should see Dr. Gulani, my retina specialist confirmed the choice.

GVI has a truly wonderful office and staff.

Dr. Gulani very different and at first I wasn’t sure he was the right choice for me, as we progressed, I came to appreciate his passion for his work and his desire for the best outcome.

I’m only 1 week into vision without glasses/contacts and I like it. Still adjusting to it.

Dr. Gulani is obviously a highly skilled surgeon and he was willing to take the risk of operating on my highly problematic eyes. Receiving personal calls from him prior to and after the surgery was very reassuring.

For especially difficult cases I think Dr. Gulani one of the best available.
