For my birthday this year, I did something I’ve been wanting to do for years. I got LASIK ‼️ 🤓 I’m extremely nearsighted and have an astigmatism in both eyes. I went to the best Doctor (Gulani) in the world and told him I wanted to see without corrective lenses for my birthday and he made it happen. 🤩 I was challenged with keeping my eyes closed for 5 days during recovery. As I still recover, I’ve had a lot of time to reflect and want to share one of my birthday prayers with all of you.

Dear Lord this year make my blessings BIG , my problems small, my faith strong, my family safe, my friends right, my attacks insignificant and my vision clear. God take the scales off my eyes in order to see the vision you have for me, even in the dark times, when my vision gets blurry. Walk with me through blind faith, help me see the light at the end of the tunnel and pursue your vision without permission 🙌🏽 Amen #ThankYouGodForVisionAndProvision”
