Easter Reflections: A Divine Reference Through Their Eyes
Sunday, 8:45 p.m.
After five hours of surgical planning at Gulani Vision Institute—preparing for patients flying in from across the world tomorrow—I was ready to head home. But something made me pause.
I stood once again in front of a framed gift from a couple who had flown in last Good Friday. It was a simple gesture—yet profoundly moving: a Bible verse, Mark 8:22–25, where sight is restored and clarity returns.
She had suffered a LASIK complication in North Carolina, her vision once declared hopeless. Through customized staging and advanced techniques, we brought that eye back… to 20/20.
They saw their own journey reflected in that verse. They saw my work—my process, my purpose—as part of that miracle.
And on this Easter Sunday, that truth stopped me in my tracks.
To be seen not just as a surgeon, but as part of someone’s healing… part of their resurrection… it is a sacred honor.
At Gulani Vision, this is our daily calling: restoring sight, renewing life, and walking with our patients on their path to clarity.
Today, we reflect on that journey—in silence, in gratitude, and in awe.
Happy Easter. 🕊🌸
