My vision had deteriorated to point that I could no longer read a newspaper, read a GPS sign on a golf cart or instructions on “how to” do anything.  I did not see just one golf ball while playing but rather a blur of one or two.
Night driving had become out of the question because of “lighting” either lack of it or too much of it depending on the circumstance.

I’d have difficulty recognizing people due to my poor vision.  I would have to use something different ( a key) to acknowledge to myself that I know them.
I was to the point glasses were of little to no help but I could go nowhere without them and most always had to carry two pairs “incase”.

I was referred to Dr. Gulani by my eye doctor, Dr. Crump. Dr. Crump and I discussed three different Ophthalmologists that performed work in the Jacksonville area.  Dr. Gulani was the one Doctor that was both cataract and Lasik trained and I felt could focus on my individual need and Dr. Gulani had the proven history of ability and success.

The Gulani Vision Institute is a professional organization in every way.  Appointments begin when they are scheduled.  Each assistant is well trained and shows interest in the patient and willing to answer questions they can or have Dr. Gulani answer. Dr. Gulani was the major participant in each appointment.

Dr. Gulani is a model of what all doctors should be.  Truly focused on each individual and LOL and excellent dresser!

I feel great about my vision.  I can now read most anything.

I am not an expert to be able to judge surgical skill but can only attest to my painless surgeries and the result which are most excellent.  Dr. Gulani took the time to show and explain in detail what he was going to do in each surgery.  Each eye had its own plan and was done accordingly.  This individual treatment is just one the reasons I selected Dr. Gulani. Each surgery was preceded by a double check process to confirm previous examination results.

I am absolutely referring my family members to him.
