I have suffered from poor vision my entire life. I was seen by an ophthalmologist when I was 2 years old. Over the years I tried a multitude of eye procedures. Many were the pioneer procedures of the time. My life has been affected professionally and personally. My friends beginning about 15 years ago confided in me that so many thought that I was incredibly rude because I would walk right past them without as much as a smile or hello. It was because I couldn’t make out faces even at arms distance.

 

I had Radial Keratotomy (RK) with another surgeon and was
left with legal blindness in my eye.

 

Being a Physician’s wife, I heard about Dr. Gulani loosely from another patient, which I promptly dismissed because so many other ophthalmologists, all super specialists had told me they had nothing more to offer me.

 

At Gulani Vision Institute, I have always been treated with the utmost respect. The staff is wonderful. Dr. Gulani was very honest with me. He told me that my case was very complex but he was confident that he could help me but the degree to the amount of improvement could not be determined.

 

 

I had Dr. Gulani’s Advanced Laser surgery over my previous RK surgery.

 

I went from being “way beyond legally blind” to seeing 20/25. Dr. Gulani is very careful to do no harm.

 

As for Dr. Gulani, his skills and bedside manners- Absolutely unmatched ! 

 

I was given advice by other super specialists that would have caused me more harm than good.

 

I shall absolutely refer anyone who needs the best.
