Over the past 10 years I have had trouble with sties and chalazia affecting mostly my right dry eye. The first treatment I received left me terrified of ever going through that again. The next time I had a chalazion I opted, after several months, to have it removed during outpatient surgery. That procedure was done on the top of my right lid. That procedure was not done as neatly as I envisioned it would and as a result I now have a slightly raised area along the upper eyelash. When I noticed another chalazion had developed I was interested in other options.

 

Chance would have it that I discovered through YouTube a revolutionary procedure that Dr Gulani had developed for dry eye and the removal of chalazia. I watched how he performed this procedure and wanted to know if this procedure was right for me. Dr Gulani took the time to explain the procedure, answered my questions regarding eyelid disorders, and scheduled me for the procedure. I underwent the meibomian gland probe on my right eye performed by Dr. Gulani. I am naturally fearful of just about everything, but after the first couple or so of the gland probe, I felt at ease with the procedure. As soon the procedure was over I noticed they my eyes felt cool since my eyes were now able to manufacture tears correctly.

 

For about a week after the procedure I noticed some crusting around the eyelids. It has now been a month since the probe was done. The best part is that my chalazion was then able to go away naturally, since the meibomian glands were opened . My eyes feel and looks great, also the crusting is now gone.
