It has been almost one year since we first met and time for me to express my good fortune as a result of that meeting.

My initial reason for contacting you was a relative to a common occurrence of maturity, namely cataracts. 

“At my first visit I was taken aback by your friendliness, and your very professional attitude.”

You were most detailed in explaining what was possible in correcting the condition in addition to suggesting that astigmatism that had caused me to wear glasses for over fifty years could be corrected.  I was somewhat skeptical, but a mutual friend assured me of your expertise, so for that reason along with your positive attitude, I agreed to proceed.

Well. Here we are, and it has been quite a year for me in that I am no longer dependent on the wearing of external corrective lenses to view my world either at distance or at near.  Hard to believe and I do confess that at times I, by instinct reach for those eye glasses that I wore every day for over fifty years. 

When I have those moments I think of you and how much you have changed that part of my life.
