I was legally blind in my right eye after surgery for a detached retina. The gas bubble caused cataracts to form. Cataract surgery was complicated by the RK surgery I had in the 80s. I was the type of case most doctors didn’t want to touch. I have been depressed and my quality of life has greater suffered. I just felt off balanced. It has also been difficult at work because I spend a lot of time writing and editing.
A coworker told me about Dr. Gulani. I had scheduled my cataract surgery with another doctor, but didn’t feel good about it because of the RK complications. I saw an article about Dr. Gulani in the newspaper and realized he was the miracle surgeon. My coworker had told me about. It seemed like fate so I scheduled a consultation.
It has been amazing. Dr. Gulani truly cares about each patient and spends hours customizing a surgical approach for each patient. Each case is personal to him and he rises his reputation because the results and individuals are worth it to him.
Dr. Gulani is brilliant and way ahead of his time. There’s a reason people come in from around the world to see him.
I have hope. Before, I felt hopeless. Dr. Gulani walked a tight rope just for me with a very risky surgery. I will be forever grateful to him.
Dr. Gulanis skills and approach are unmatched. He is the best of the best. It is my sincere hope that the medical profession will take note. His brilliant approach should be something that all physicians strive for.
