“Am I Exhausted?
One of the patients flying in from #cleveland today asked me this question.
He has seen every lecture of mine on YouTube, on professional sites, all my teaching webinars and literally spoke my eye surgery language which I speak to eye surgeons as he has researched me for nearly a decade while having consulted numerous eye surgeons all over the world before flying ✈️ in to see me today.
He asked if it was exhausting for me to see patients like him every day and then performing when every surgeon had given up.
My answer without hesitation was “No”!
Just over last three days, I welcomed and corrected some of the most complex Lasik, Smile , Radial Keratotomy and Cataract surgery Complication Patients from all over the world 🌎,each one of them having seen multiple surgeons and having done extensive research and despite knowing their complexities, expecting perfect vision from me. Perhaps this drives me to deliver 👀 even harder 🥊 .
On top of that, letting them celebrate their new vision with me and seeing them rise in their lives maybe further propels my desire to keep on performing while also impatiently encouraging my eye surgeon colleagues.
