I had to wear glasses constantly. This was very irritating. I was recommended to Dr. Gulani by a friend who was referred by another eye surgeon. This friend of mine was very happy with his Laser Surgery outcome with Dr. Gulani.

There are different procedures that Dr Gulani advises and personalizes to each patient, not just a “cut & dried” let’s do Lasik approach. He presents many different alternatives, choices based on present, past, and future of your own personal situation.
I chose to do Cataract surgery with ReStor Multifocal lenses & then Lasik because of my individual eye status. I can now read without glasses. My vision couldn’t be better. Also the merits of this procedure for me will be to my benefit later in life too.

My vision was so bad I could not read or see how to drive. I could not perform my work duties effectively. I had to ask for help from my co-worker. I cannot say enough about Dr. Gulani. His skills and education for his patients are superb. He’s very sharp on his skills and education and show no sign of selfishness because he wants others to know about this through his teachings internationally.
His personal touch is what all patients want in their doctor, not a Doctor/Patient relationship, but a People/Person relationship to a patient. This is what we want from a Doctor. If you have that people/person relationship I promise you, you will be rewarded. Of yes, I never had a doctor to call me and ask how I’m doing after my surgery. Now that’s what I’m talking about, that was very touching to me.

I am 69 years old and in generally excellent health. However, I wore contacts all the time. I was very farsighted. My vision had deteriorated over a period of years so that I had to put on glasses to see the clock in the middle of the night! The shape of my eyes were such that only one brand of contacts fit and that brand did not make contacts in a high enough power. So I had come to the point of wearing contacts AND glasses to read.
The prescription for my regular glasses resembled Coke bottle bottoms and were very unbecoming so I only used them for putting on contacts.
At a regular check up at my eye doctor’s office in Fernandina Beach, I was told that Dr. Gulani had solved vision problems for people who had not been able to be helped by other doctors. In the past, I had been told that my vision was too far gone for help until more research was done. Although my vision was perhaps forty percent diminished, the most troublesome aspect of my practical vision was astigmatism and multi-colored, large halos due to cataracts.
